What is Offset Printing?
The term offset printing refers to the process of transferring ink onto the paper. During offset printing, images on metal plates are first transferred onto a rubber blanket and then onto the print media.
An offset printing press has four plates, one for each CMYK colour – cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Each colour is applied separately in a specific pattern of tiny dots. These patterns of tiny dots of different densities of CMYK inks produce a vast range of colours.
Offset printing is the international standard in commercial printing for producing anything from brochures to glossy magazines in bulk.
Offset Printing True Colours and Brilliant Finishes
Offset printing offers consistent colour reproduction so you can be sure your designs will look great in print. If you need Pantone colour matching, true tone colours or brilliant finishes that pop off the page, offset printing is certainly your friend.
The Fine Details
It takes time to set up the printing press because this is how we ensure the sharpest, crispest finish. Offset printing excels in fine lines and sharp detail, perfect colour gradients, and colour uniformity from the first print to the last print.
Highest Quality on a Range of Media
You can choose from a range of media with our offset printing solutions. Choose from textured or glossy paper stocks from 50gsm to 500gsm, or even wood, metal, cloth, plastic or leather.
